Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ and wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd was able to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first minute. Following that she took on WCFC once more and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen was already beaten by Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. This left a mark on the amateur record of Ladd. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16 saw her go to the weight class of Bantamweight following her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen dominated McGill through her grappling and finished her off in the third round with a TKO. Aspen had to face Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy in her catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't make Weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she finished her with a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last event for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks via a unanimous vote. In Aspen's UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 at which point she was up against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to win by TKO in the second round. Her dominance grew and she won a dazzling victory when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and earned a reward to commemorate her performance of the evening. The first big fight she fought in was during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and it was the Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC on ESPN 7. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
