Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her professional debut at WCFC in the age group of 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and subsequently went on a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was beaten by Aspen and defeated her via unanimity to create an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Aspen won her subsequent fight at the hands of Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at Bantamweight for her subsequent fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in weight catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. Aspen won her fight via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC21 was her final event for the company. She beat Sijaraebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger in a way that was even more spectacular. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the first round and got a Performance of The Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. The match was Ladd's first fight in a major tournament. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and it was the Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya after the third round on UFC in ESPN 7. As a replacement, she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision against her.
