Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at time of 14. Aspen Ladd had training in kickboxing, BJJ and boxing and wrestling before making her amateur debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her win on the night of Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She dominated all her opponents within the first round. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already beaten by Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen who beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's records as an amateur were destroyed. Ladd returned from the defeat, beating Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 represented her first fight with a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Aspen defeated McGill by wrestling her to the ground to finish her off with the third round TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd fell short of weight. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her at the end of round two via TKO. In her last fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina as she pound her down in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She came back to her winning ways and scored an even impressive victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and received a performance of the Night prize. Her first major fight at an UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd took victory by a unanimous vote. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her place, she defeated Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
