Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. After her kickboxing and boxing lessons, BJJ and wrestling she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd kept building on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. After that, she went to WCFC once more and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her via an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015. Aspen joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Aspen fought Hoy as an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she ended her fight with a TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her final event for the company. She beat Sijaraebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She beat Lina by a ground and pound victory during 2nd round. The dominance of her continued, and she got a huge win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to beat Evinger with a punch during the first round and received a performance of the Night prize. The first big fight she fought in was when she fought her second opponent at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and it was the Fight of the Night award was presented to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in less than 16 seconds and ended her win streak. After a break of a few seconds before returning to take on Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place, she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously against her.
