Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her professional debut at 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were defeated within the first minutes. In the following weeks Ladd went on to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was superior to Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's amateur record was destroyed. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to win against Roma Pawelek, taking her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 saw her go into the Bantamweight division after winning her bout with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill before ending her bout with the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. Her final fight with Invicta FC, she defeated Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her for a second-round TKO victory. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. The fighter fought for the first time in a major fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. They fought in an intense fight which Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received each the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
