Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the young age of fourteen. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before making her first amateur appearance at 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated ended in less than a moment. Then she took on WCFC once more and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her by the unanimous decision, which put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd returned from her defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill has smashed McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round via TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen later faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy using the catchweight (138.1lb) as Ladd was not able to make Weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to the point that she defeated her via a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, taking on Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to prevail by TKO during the second round. She continued to dominate and got a huge win at the end of her fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to beat Evinger with a punch during the initial round, and received a performance of the Night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters earning their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC broadcast on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
