Aspen Ladd started her combat sport career when she was 14 years old. Aspen Ladd had training in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd followed up to beat three times over the course of a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the fighters she beat ended in less than a minutes. In the following weeks, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia is superior to Aspen as she beat her by unanimous vote. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability was able to take down McGill as she was able to stop her in the third round through TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd failed to meet weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last bout for the organization. She beat Sijaraebanks by unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was during UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She remained dominant and picked up a more impressive victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger. The fight was at UFC 229. Ladd won over Evinger in just the first minute and was awarded a prize to commemorate her performance of the evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote and both fighters receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in less than 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in the UFC in ESPN 7. The last time she fought for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
